Testing and Assessment FAQs
What tests are required as part of the program?
Students who are enrolled in Cascade Virtual Academy (CVA) are required to take the following tests:
- Lesson assessments
- Unit assessments
- Semester assessments
- Diagnostic and formative assessments to measure growth and mastery of grade-level standards
Do I have to participate in state testing?
All students enrolled in CVA are required to participate in ALL district and state testing. This is a mandatory part of the school.
