Online Middle School Academics
Cascade Virtual Academy (CVA) believes in finding new ways of learning that work for all kinds of students. That’s why we use the K12 curriculum. It was created by an experienced team of educators using proven instructional approaches.
At the middle school level, students take courses in the core subjects listed below, and self-guided electives in music and world languages. They also have the chance to take career exploration courses starting in 8th grade to help them discover their interests and begin selecting career fields they may wish to pursue.

Starting in 7th grade, your child can explore their interests through career exploration courses offered in our career and college prep program. This early insight helps them choose a high school career pathway that will give them a competitive edge for both college and the workforce.
