March marks National Reading Month, a time to celebrate the essential role reading plays in a child’s development.   • Read Aloud Together: Sharing stories as a family or class not only enhances reading comprehension but also creates lasting memories. Consider reading aloud as a fun and educational bonding activity. 

As Ms. Koning, one of our wonderful teachers, shares, “I read The Dot and Ish by Peter H. Reynolds with my students every year. I love his books, and the illustrations are beautiful!” Reading aloud can spark creativity and conversation, and it’s a wonderful way to bond over stories that inspire both young readers and adults alike.
